Featured BioStar Project

BioStar Renewables partnered with Seaboard Energy, LLC to develop and construct a 15 MW behind-the-meter solar array supporting Seaboard’s renewable diesel facility in Hugoton, Kansas. Located just 2.5 miles west of the city center, the project features more than 27,000 solar panels and generates over 30 million kWh of clean electricity annually—significantly reducing reliance on the local utility. Designed and delivered by BioStar through full EPC services, the project has the potential to offset more than 21,000 metric tons of CO₂e each year, reinforcing Seaboard’s commitment to reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable energy.
