SuperSix™ Crop Technical Sheet – Lettuce

SuperSix™ Crop Technical Sheet – Lettuce

Lettuce requires 150-180 lbs of nitrogen per acre per year, with an additional 100 - 125 lbs of nitrogen per crop per acre if double or triple cropping is done. We recommend using SuperSix™ to account for 25 - 50% of crop needs per crop. Applying liquid fertilizers through a drip irrigation system can be 20 - 30% more efficient than applying the same amount through a dry granular product, meaning that instead of needing to apply 40 to 74 lbs of nitrogen per acre to account for 25 - 50% of crop needs you need only to apply 30 to 50 lbs. This amounts to a yearly usage of 6-0-5 at a rate of 50 to 80 gallons per acre for a first crop of lettuce.
