BioStar Renewables Surpasses $25 Million in Innovative Financing

Better Buildings Challenge - Logo-01Bill Love, BioStar Renewables, CEO, is pleased to announce BioStar Renewables has been awarded the Better Buildings Challenge 2017 Goal Achiever Award from the US Department of Energy. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) declared the energy-efficiency progress made by 345 leading public and private sector organizations in the Better Buildings Challenge. These efforts have led to a combined 240 trillion BtU’s and an estimated $1.9 billion in cumulative energy and cost savings.

This year, BioStar Renewables is one of eighteen selected Better Buildings Challenge partners and allies who met their energy, water, or financing goals. Results are summarized in the 2017 Better Buildings Progress Report that highlights accomplishments across the broader Better Buildings Initiative. The goal of this initiative is to make commercial, public, industrial, and residential buildings twenty percent more energy efficient over the next decade by focusing on overcoming market barriers and sharing partner-created solutions.
